We are seeking a skilled Cost Analyst to help us with budget management and cost reduction. In this position, you will analyze our expenses, research vendors, and find ways that we can increase our profit margin. You will compile all of your research and deliver a report to management. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA credentials. You should also have several years of cost-estimating experience and proficiency with accounting software, especially invoicing and month-end close tools. Cost Analyst Duties and Responsibilities Review our financial records and policies Identify unnecessary costs Research markets and vendors that can save us money Compile your results and recommendations into a report Adjust your recommendations per market changes Cost Analyst Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA license Cost analysis experience Proficiency with accounting software Strong analytical skills
