Your task is to create a file processing service. This service will monitor a directory, and when an external process creates a file in that directory the service applies high level of compression to the file and saves the resulting file to another directory. The service should also log all events to some file. • You can use any general-purpose programming language, scripting language or similar tool to implement your solution. – Running your solution should not require acquiring any licenses, paid or otherwise. Needing to accept common open source licenses and similar is ok. • Deploy your solution to a docker container using Ansible You should design your solution so that it can be improved and extended, for example by: • Web UI • Securely transfer of target files to another remote server • Error handling • Statistics • Email notifications You can include basic implementation for any of these in your answer for bonus points if you want, but please keep in mind that we care more about clean, well-documented base solution than the number of implemented features. Deliverables: – Documentation and usage instruction for your solution. The documentation you provide will be a major part of the test. – Ansible files that would build a docker image containing your solution and run a docker container based on that image. – Return everything in a GIT repository.
