Community Dataroots is looking for passionate data lovers to assist us on our mission to help nonprofits with their data management struggles. Nonprofit leaders typically do not have the time or the expertise to manage their data properly. This is where Community Dataroots steps in! This is the type of work we most commonly do: * Compile & standardize messy, disorganized spreadsheets and other file types * Data cleansing (i.e. removal of extra spaces, proper capitalization applied) * Data deduplication * Coordination with outside third-party data vendors for data verification and appending * Data matching between source systems / files * Preparation of data for upload into donor management systems (i.e. Bloomerang, Salsa Labs) * Ongoing data maintenance within donor management systems This is project-driven work. Some jobs may last a week or two. Some will take longer. Community Dataroots utilizes a data cleansing & matching tool called WinPure. Our preferred method would be candidates learn to use this tool for the work, although this is certainly not a requirement. We would love to talk with you about this opportunity!
