I am looking to hire a developer that can deliver a program that can do the following: – User entry via a website widget with an item number and model number – System will pull information from a database you compile with a yes/no answer if the item number matches the model number for compatibility. – If the system does not have the answer, it would scrape 2-3 websites (that I provide the URL for) to find the answer, then store said answer in database for future reference, and notify the user that the system did not have the information yet. – Bonus/Optimization: If possible, website widget would pre-fill the item number based on page name, so user would only need to add a model number to receive an answer. This widget would be inserted on hundreds of pages over time. The database and backend would be hosted on a Linode sever for ease of use for my company.
