My Safety Manager (www.MySafetyManager.com) is a leading provider of compliance management services for trucking companies across America. We provide safety and compliance services, including things like driver qualification, drug and alcohol program management, Hours of Service monitoring, insurance claim reporting/management, and much more! As part of the driver qualification service that we provide to our clients, we are required to check the safety history of each driver candidate for the last 3 years. Basically, the Federal Government requires that we check to make sure that the driver didn’t fail any drug tests during the last 3 years. We do this by sending (via email or eFax) a document that is collected when the driver applies for a position with one of our clients. Due to outstanding growth, we’re looking for a new team member to spearhead this important task for us! In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for: Sending these verification documents to other trucking companies via email or efax Collecting responses from the other companies that come in Updating a tracking spreadsheet in each driver’s qualification file This is a fairly straightforward but critical task to help us ensure that our clients remain in full compliance with all Federal trucking regulations. This is a 100% virtual position. You can work from anywhere in the US! Ideally, we’re looking for someone to engage in this activity for us for 1 to 5 hours per day, but we’re flexible. (It usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete this process for each driver candidate). You do not have to have phone contact with anyone apart from our team (We know that some people really don’t like that). There is no educational requirement for this position, but good email etiquette and professional written communication skills are critical. This process is important, but not very time sensitive task, so you can set your own schedule! You won’t be micro-managed!! Of course, we will fully train you to be successful in this position. The training will also be virtual, delivered by training videos and calls with our team. Due to being exposed to sensitive personal information of our clients and their employees/contractors, we will require that you undergo and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (at our expense). Our hourly salary range is negotiable and depends on your experience. Success in this role will open you up to larger potential roles in our organization, if you’re interested.
