We are a small Educational Events company, seeking someone to help us turn our bookkeeping mess into an organized machine we can rely on to make great decisions about our business. Since we use ZohoOne, we’d like to do this in Zoho Books. We currently have Zoho Books setup, but would like to start from scratch and reorganize it. We would like to work with someone who is both patient and knowledgeable of both accounting practices as well as Zoho Books. We are looking for someone who can accomplish this in a month’s time. We would like this person to possess great communication skills, be willing to ask questions and advise possible solutions to complex issues. We’d also like to work with someone who is easily accessible for Zoom meetings as needed. Deliverables Create a new Zoho Books Account -Create chart of accounts using standard accounting number system -Connect banks accounts, credit cards, payment processors, etc -Categorize transactions -Reconcile transactions Create automatic categorization of transactions (meet to discuss prior to categorizing) Create a mutually agreed-upon system for identifying, categorizing and reconciling co-mingled transactions. After initial setup, we would want this person to continue to update our books on a weekly basis which will be a new contract. We believe this to be the full scope of work, however, as we are not accountants or bookkeepers there may be some items we have overlooked.
