My aim is to bring change in Information Technology management by providing quality work to the people I work with. Responsibilities: • Incident Management in the 1st line support. Manage IT Service Request Catalog logons, ensuring proper assigning, planning and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlogs and ensure operational efficiency. • Communication / follow-up with users to keep them informed of incidents progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages thus complaints. • Troubleshoot and find solution to basic network and server access problem for the end users. • Creation of users in the system (Igas, Sayari, Aims, Iquote Emails Domain. etc) and Password resets. • Participate in the Project Jawabu, working with the IT Project Officer and by Financial Advisor adding attributes in the FAs Portal system. • Participating in Knowledge transfer exercises from selected Champions within the service desk and support teams. • Managing the open calls on the service desk queue to avoid backlogs • Monitoring and maintaining printers networks and Scanners, both onsite and remotely. • Setting up WebEx meetings as requested by users. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with voice communications, creation of users and configuration of Cisco phone in the Cisco Unified CM Administration system. • Creation of new user and resetting passwords in organization’s system (i.e. IGAS, IQUOTE, AIMS, SAYARI, Sirius, etc.) • Configuring and installing new Desktops and laptops with the company setup and standards. • Provide timely and accurate reports on IT availability. • Maintain and develop excellent working relationship with all system users, resolving issues in a professional and appropriate manner. • Attend to any other work given to me by the Assistant Manager Service Desk • End user support to staff/clients support both in remote assistance and hands on. • Working within a TCP/IP network environment, including DHCP, DNS and Ethernet. • Configuring and managing backup and restore procedures in Windows and Linux operating systems as well as joining them to domain. • Management of Servers (e.g. domain controller servers Mail servers, CX GUI server and print servers) within the Organization. • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, printers and networks both onsite and remotely. • Help desk tickets management on our LAN Support helpdesk management system. • Desktop and laptop software installations and upgrades ICT assets inventories tracking and administration. • Supporting software programs as well as a roll out of new applications. Installation and configuration of USIU ERP system. i.e. CX GUI,CARS system • Resolution of request fulfillment and Hardware System administration. Computer hardware, networking and databases. • Administrator Active Directory handling in creation of faculty, staff and student accounts. • Both Windows and Linux systems troubleshooting, support and maintenance. • Blackboard management and administration • Perform any other related duties and responsibilities assigned by the manager
