Off Grid Adventure Vans is looking for an accountant to help work with us. We are a fast-growing company based out of Maryland that produces camper vans/RVs. This job may not be the most traditional accountant role as it will be a one-person team! There will be tasks from AR to bookkeeping to cash analysis. Below is a list of tasks that we will be expecting the applicant to be able to work on. The initial work will just be coding credit card transactions. Familiarity with US tax law is needed. Familiarity with US tax law relating to automotive work is a PLUS Maintain and update the chart of accounts Reconcile key balance sheet accounts likely on a monthly basis Review and code vendor invoices Post customer payments Issue and distribute customer invoices Review and reconcile bank activity on a monthly basis Generate and review P&L statement for accuracy and compliance with GAAP File monthly sales tax returns Code credit card transactions in QBO Work with Tax accountant/CPA Prepare and summary actual vs budget performance Collaborate with management to create and manage budgets Be willing to ask lots of questions! Other duties as assigned 🙂
