Responsibilities: •Dispatch multiple owner operators – proactively planning •Maximize revenue per load, per day using loads boards, broker networks. •Confirming all drivers have the proper equipment, paperwork, credentials. •Communicates dispatch instructions and expectations to drivers •Communicates driver issues to management and assists with resolution •Perform prompt and accurate data entry and request required paperwork •Provide leadership, accountability, and support to assigned drivers •Adhere to company, state, and federal DOT/OSHA requirements •Provide customer support as needed, answering questions, issues, phone, etc. •Works with customers, vendors, management, and drivers to problem solve issues that arise. Escalate to director if needed. •Owner Operators onboarding as assigned. Must demonstrate good communication skills both written and spoken. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, problem solve at a high level and work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent computer skills. •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and communicate regarding same. Must have ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to communicate effectively using the telephone, Smartphones, Fax, E-mail etc. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. •Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insinuations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. •Must possess strong work ethics & integrity.
