The primary responsibility of the Marketing Assistant will be to provide direct assistance where needed for the Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Assistant will report to the VP of Business Development & Operations. Required Duties: (This list is not comprehensive, but is used to provide general guidance. Other duties may be required.) Assist in gathering/organizing marketing data Creating graphic representations of data for presentation and marketing purposes Research potential blogs & write some Research competitors & be able to compile data Monitor and manage company social media platforms Take notes in marketing meetings Assist in designing/redesigning marketing materials Assist in website management with a monthly review of website information (for updates) Assist in writing/editing/posting online resources (or working with a freelancer to do so) Position is Part-Time (20 hours/week) Hours are flexible This is a work from home position currently. . Requirements: Education: High School Diploma. College Student in marketing or similar degree. Language Skills: o Fluent in English o Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills o Excellent Grammatical Skills o Good questioning and listening skills Mathematical and Analytical Skills: o A basic understanding of arithmetic and elementary algebra Computer Skills: o Effective use of the internet for research o Basic proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Organizational Skills: o Ability to prioritize and manage details of multiple projects simultaneously o Effective time management and scheduling (calendar)
