I need an experienced virtual assistant who can meet with me on video each week as I walk them through how to do the tasks I want them to take over for me. (So, essentially, we’ll meet, I’ll walk you through how I do something, that regularly needs to be done, and I want you to take off my plate.) You may have your own way of doing something, or just learn a way to do it better over time. How you do the tasks will likely evolve. We’ll start with 3 to 7 hours for the first week, but the hours will increase each week. As we walk through new tasks, your hours will increase. (We’ll cover 3 to 4 new tasks each week.) I anticipate that once I’ve shared all the tasks I need you to complete, regular weekly hours will be about 7 to 20 hours per week. I’m on social media way too much What I’m looking for Initiative 1: Help me document how I do things and ask questions, so you can complete the task (and take it off my plate completely). I need to create a better backend system Initiative 2: Improve how you do tasks and take on new tasks as assigned, over time. You should be able to: – Work with a deadline (it’s not so fast-paced that it’s hard to keep up with and you pick your hours, but you need to be timely). – Manage my social platforms–create posts, post, and engage. – Edit videos I send for posting – Create an onboarding process for when clients sign up for my training services – Track and report back on my metrics each week. – Share in Facebook Communities/on share days. – Keep a record of the processes you complete for me up-to-date. – Support me on live calls, webinars, and classes (mostly chat support, and to take notes, you may need to be on video occasionally). – Add emails to vagaro/google calendar for new appointment types, as needed. – email marketing campaigns- email my list once a week and create a nurturing series – help develop lead magnets, sales funnel, and sales page -GOOD COPYWRITING–compelling posts and emails that cause heartfelt emotion with a reality check – Check for and reply to any urgent client message that comes in over the weekend (these are rare, but do happen occasionally) – Send, coordinate pitch emails, for me to be on podcasts that align/who has my ideal client in mind – Develop ways to begin monetizing my platforms – Help manage/create online course content for upcoming online courses Keep I mind, with each task, I’ll walk you through exactly how I do things, and you can discuss a better way of doing it There are also several other similar tasks that I’ll walk you through as we go. I just want to give you an idea of the types of tasks you’ll be doing. And, just so you know, I will occasionally ask you to be on video (Mostly just me and you chatting via video call. Occasionally you might be on video for a client call or team meeting.) You should be techy-savvy and be able to write a solid email reply. Experience with online business owners, coaches, course creators or other virtual practices and firms is strongly preferred. (Wonderful if you have other experience helping online business owners, or small business owners.) Occasionally I’ll ask you to write an email reply (I’ll review the first ones, and show you how I do it of course). And, I’ll ask you to do a video call with me occasionally (likely when we meet, and for weekly meetings/typically 30 minutes or so). I use Zoom for my video calls. You should be… – Paying attention to how I do things and how I make decisions. – Learning about how I do things, and understand what I do and why I do it (be able to explain it and show you understand it). – Alert, a good communicator who pays attention to the details – The type of person who takes ownership of their work, and takes pride in what they do. – Techy-savvy (so important I mention it twice), you don’t need to know or have experience with the tools, but you should have a good understanding of running an online business, and be able to use things like messenger, email, email scheduling tools, appointment scheduling tools, etc. – You can be fully present for a weekly meeting, and you’re good at scheduling yourself so you easily meet deadlines and project timelines.
