We are looking for QA team members for our Japanese Phone Conversation and Transcription project. The QA team’s responsibilities are – listening to samples of audio to ensure that the audio meets the requirements (conversations are in Japanese. – checking the transcription to ensure that the guidelines have been followed and quality is good (i.e. all audio is transcribed, tags have been used correctly) – check the segmentation of the audio files – evaluate transcriber’s work (pass/fail transcribed segments) – occasionally provide more detailed feedback on transcription to ensure we have the best workforce – occasionally transcribe audio if needed (especially in the beginning) Other Requirements: – Laptop/PC – Google Chrome or Firefox Download Robson: For Android users: http://glbl.me/joc For iOS users: http://glbl.me/jyo We expect the weekly workload to be around 20-30 hours for most weeks, but there will be weeks where a higher workload occurs (data delivery weeks). QA team members are paid per hour (rate to be discussed). We would expect each QA team member to be available for at least 15h/week, but you are flexible when it comes to the workdays/working hours. The audio consists of conversations between two people (via phone) and/or media data. There is a wide range of topics.
