The Rainbow Index is a LGBTQ start-up looking for a data entry and verifier for researching, entering and verifying data through a content management system. Applicants must be completely fluent in English, be highly detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills. Job Details: – Perform all research necessary to ensure accurate names and locations of listings with given sources – Review current data for thoroughness and accuracy, research and verify data by crosschecking data with external online sources such as Google or other websites and make updates or necessary changes – Enter data into CMS and update manager of completed tasks – Cross verify data to make sure that date is correct and accurate Requirements: – Understand how to research using search engines and results – Be a fluent English speaker – Be able to work 10-20 hours per week (possibly more if willing) – Proficient in Google Spreadsheets + Docs, Microsoft Excel + Word – Ability to type 50 WPM – Strong organizational skills – Superb attention to detail – Able to meet deadlines – Excellent communication skills
