Versus is a comparison website available in 15 languages. We cover over 90 categories, from smartphones and home appliances to cars and cities. We have an opening for a data entry specialist to work in our content team. Our website – versus.com Our YouTube channel – youtube.com/Versusdotcom The ideal candidate will have previous data entry experience and a passion for the latest technology and products from our categories. If you have translation experience (backed up by successful jobs on Upwork) and are a native speaker of one of our supported languages, it would be an advantage (but it’s not necessary). Contract & hours – This is a temporary position of 3 months, but can be extended to a long-term arrangement for the right person. – The hours are flexible. Preferably 20-25 hours per week. Location Remote, but you should be available for our weekly content team video call at 14:00 Berlin time every Tuesday Main responsibilities – Adding new products to the website using our in-house CMS – Quality Assurance — investigating and fixing errors in our product data – Price matching — ensuring that our products have correct links to our affiliate partners – Translation (possibly, depending on the candidate) Requirements – Previous experience in data entry (please provide details in your application) – Good English skills (written and spoken) – A fast internet connection which is good enough for video conferencing – Strong attention to detail Optional/desirable – Translation experience/native speaker of one of our site’s available languages – Knowledge & passion for the newest technology and our product categories – Basic photo editing skills Please include the word "aubergine" in your application so that we know you have read the job description.
