We are a new company with a mission of helping people find events and new friendships In their area by doing events. The concept is that we will build a base of folks who will be posting their own events and building their own audience through a group feature. Until we build our own audience/events list, we need to be marketable and therefor need to have a database full of popular and fun local events that link out to the event landing page. I need someone who can collect a large amount of events occurring during the 2021 year and populate our database for our launch. The launch is a couple months away, but would like to go ahead and start getting the data in place. After launch, we will need to keep the list fresh until we start building traction, so there is an opportunity for on going work. We’ll want a comprehensive list of events in all of the US and hoping that we can make it feel localized. We also need to build in certain categories, such as hiking & outdoors, singles events, etc.
