We’re looking for a subcontractor to conduct employee reference checks as part of the hiring and recruitment process using a standard template (example attached). Must have excellent verbal and written skills in English and must be able to communicate fluently in English. Candidates must be able to make phone calls to collect the reference information from sources identified for providing the reference for the potential new hire. Candidates must be able to make calls during Eastern Standard Time (EST), "Toronto" time hours 9am – 6pm EST only. Additional HR Administrative work may also be assigned when needed and subject to the candidate’s abilities. Candidates must have advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) in this case. Candidates must be able to very occasionally video-conference with Managing Consultants (ideally via Teams). Must be willing to docket or invoice based on volume of work (reference checking is a regular requirement but there are peak periods and periods of time when its not as busy). A high degree of discretion and confidentiality is required. Thank you.
