Do you have great attention to detail? Are you friendly, helpful, honest, and reliable? Do you have amazing communication and time management skill? Do you have the desire to be a phenomenal recruiter or human resource administrator? Well, this internship might be the perfect role for you! We have years of running excellent internship programs that have helped freelancers with no experience, to become experienced and well-paid freelancers on and off of Upwork. We have a VERY comprehensive training program. This will be unlike anything you’ve done before and will put you on the digital marketing map if you are willing to commit to learning and building your career long term. So, we are now opening our internship program to a new intern who is: – An excellent communicator, primarily in written communications (English) – Able to learn quickly, work well with others, and want to be part of a great team – Great at multi-task and organizational skills – Able to prioritize and meet deadlines, while remaining professional and reliable The kinds of things you’d do in this internship include: * Learning how to recruit and support a distributed global team (virtual freelancers) – a vital skill in the COVID world * Admin & grow your management skills * Supporting new hires + onboarding, supporting them through training * Helping to create job postings and job descriptions * Posting job postings on Upwork and other platforms * Shortlisting proposals from all the job postings * Interviewing candidates and presenting good candidates to HR manager to consider for hiring If interested please provide a cover letter and share why this is a good opportunity for you, what you want to get out of it and why you think you’d be the best fit for it. The internship lasts for 4-6 months (6 months is best because the most growth – think of it like an immersive training and experiential learning program at a college). The stipend is modest, however, this is a great opportunity to build feedback and experience on the Upwork platform. We operate in the Singapore timezone and would need applicants to be able to work from around 10 or 11 am Singapore time since that’s when our team is able to support interns.
