Who are we looking for?: An online research/data entry specialists who can help us with our ongoing online research project, based on which we will build our database of leads. Task: Searching online for a set of information related to individual sports clubs and entering them into our Airtable. If you prefer to work in google docs/excel it’s alright as far as the final export file matches the formatting of our Airtable research template. How? We’ve split the database of 1,200 polo clubs into 5 chunks (split by countries). You will be assigned one of the chunks, which contains: Sports Club Name and country. We will ask you to collect a set of information about: 1) Club’s exact location, full address, GPS coordinates (Longitude, Latitude) — we will ask you to check each club’s addresses on the map, if it can’t be placed on the map, we can’t verify it. Hence should be tagged accordingly. 2) Contact information — that our customers can use to get in touch with the club (Email/Phone Number/Contact Name) 3) Social media information — facebook page link, page likes, instagram page link, #of followers/posts. 4) At a glance — what services do they advertise on site? Do they offer accommodation on site? What are the food options mentioned on the website? 5) Sources of information – website/social/google search links 6) What’s nearby — Distance from the nearest airport, train station, city center I’ll review the applications we’ll receive and pick up to 5 freelancers — one per doc, unless someone can deliver good quality of work fast then I can assign more research to one individual. After selecting the freelancers you’ll receive a sample of the data entry sheet, please go over it for 1-3 clubs to accurately quote the effort. On previous data entry jobs I’ve outsources we’ve worked on per entry fee x list of complete entries. I’d prefer to negotiate a fixed fee based on your sample research x # of entries in the file. Practical tips: 1) In some cases it might be difficult to find full set of information about an individual club. In some cases you will only find a name but no location/any other information. The fact that the club doesn’t offer any information online is also valuable information for us — in those cases simply assign one of the appropriate tags: 1) Verified – full or nearly full set of info — you managed to find most of the information 2) Looks legitimate — little info — you could find the club’s location and references to it in google search, but not much more 3) Can’t be verified — we can’t find information about this club
