Results-oriented paralegal needed. Project – Contract 1099. 8 weeks, potential for more projects on an ongoing basis, if mutually compatible. Assistance with various projects needed in a pre-legal environment. Conceptualizing and editing contract verbiage and contract document creation. TX, LA, MISS Researching various points of concern on contract verbiage. Researching questions that arise during processing, and not giving up until the answer is found and proven with back-up from either: statute, case or written opinion memorandum from an attorney, in that state. Finalizing versions of contracts Submitting documents for approval through government agencies. Follow through for finalization and implementation to the CRM process. Giving verbal reports on findings to the Boss. Documenting/ data entry on every detail. Typing and secretarial dictations of written or verbal accounts of Bosses encounters, phone calls, or meetings. Calendar management for Boss. General preparation assistance with preparing files for legal team to view and process. Processing documents received on files, via mail and email recording and then combing through the documents to then realize proper response(s) necessary and or send for the proper response in time sensitive environment, keeping in line with strict deadlines on certain items. Methodical Mail/ email intake, documentation/ record keeping. Preferred computer system is Google Suite – google calendar, google docs, google sheets, google drive folders etc. Main Office located in TX, or virtual with the right person. Property / Construction background or prior experience would be helpful but it is not completely necessary, Hours and performance actions will need to be logged weekly for review.
