Crossroads Community Supported Healthcare WE ARE NOW HIRING a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER ABOUT THE PROJECT Global in scope, Barefoot Acupuncture Movement’s approach is grounded in the tested, sustainable medical practices of Crossroads Community Supported Healthcare, whose mission is to make healthcare accessible and affordable to people of all income levels through the support of local communities. This umbrella project within Crossroads Community Supported Healthcare and “doing business as” BAM formalizes our increased training and capacity building in humanitarian work worldwide. THE POSITION To help operationalize the goals and objectives of the organization, we are hiring a Social Media Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the administration in social media campaigns, maintenance of social media platforms, and assist the team in related areas to achieve goals and targets. The intern will assist in the development and implementation of outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement. RESPONSIBILITY Promotes the official vision, mission, and strategic goals of Crossroads Community Supported Healthcare Identifies and recommends additional strategies for effective implementation Manage the day-to-day social media operations and undertakings of the marketing team Assist in the growth of the organization by raising awareness through various social media platforms Monitor postings to ensure social media message is constant from the terminology used to images posted Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the campaigns Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products REQUIREMENTS Graduating, preferably with a degree in relevant disciplines or any equivalent course Must have people skills and be able to work in a team Proficiency in both written and spoken English. High level of skill in written English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. With knowledge and experience in an online community and social media management and communication.
