CONTEXT We are a high-tech startup that has created a data entry platform to make manual data entry processes as efficient, accurate, and enjoyable as possible. We are looking for motivated individuals to use our web application in order to locate and capture specific information within hundreds of documents. USE CASE The task in question is rather straightforward: you will need to find the total number of employees reported by some publicly listed companies. In most cases, the total number of employees is not reported as a standalone figure. Some example includes: – A breakdown of the total number of employees by business department or by gender. – A breakdown of the total number of employees by full-time vs part-time employees. – A breakdown of the total number of employees by key employees, ex. CEO, CFO, treasurer in smaller companies. To complete these cases and others successfully, our team has prepared some documentation; you will need to follow the instructions very attentively in order to calculate the total number of employees correctly. The quality of your output is crucial! GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: – At least 18 years of age. – High-speed internet access (Cable Modem, DSL, etc.). – A personal computer running Google’s free Chrome web browser, version 45 or newer. You will be provided with login details to access our data entry platform as well as a direct slack channel that you can use to ask any questions to our team.
