My business provides administrative support for small to medium enterprises in Brisbane, Australia. My client base is varied, industries include mechanical, interior design, real estate, travel, law and insurance to name a few. I am currently seeking a VA to back me up, initially for 2 hours per day, 8 hours per week. This role has the potential to become full time for the right person. I need someone that is keen to jump in, happy assist with secretarial/administrative tasks including but not limited to research, data entry, correspondence, social media posts, document formatting, editing and creation, powerpoint presentations and general ad hoc tasks. As time goes on blog writing, newsletter campaigns and all range of other tasks can be added. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Adobe Editor (at least) are essential, Canva and Xero will be beneficial. The right attitude and willingness to grow are the main factors, but basic skills and high level English are a necessity. I am looking for someone who wants to build a relationship, that is a keen communicator and wants to work as a team, rather than just ‘completing a job on Upwork’. Hours will be 10am – 12 midday Tuesday to Friday to start. You must be available during these hours so that we can work together and communicate easily. We will trial for 1 week and then reassess if both parties are happy. Please provide a cover letter, as I really want to get to know a little about you.
