The Role You Will Play: HR Generalist Lead onboarding process of new employees Provide general administrative support Maintain accurate records and verify documentation Process paperwork Complete new hire packet Schedule drug screens, shift scheduling Assists in administration of compensation program; monitors/coordinates performance appraisal process Process Payroll and resolve any issues with payroll and/or time system, training of Supervisors/Mgrs on Time system, etc. EEO-1 Reporting & VOE completion Write work instructions /procedures/update & develop Job Descriptions Participation in Policy Development and Recommendations Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, TPA coordination, etc. Coordinate manning through temp agency and participates in recruitment effort for all non-exempt employees Coordinate organizational training and development efforts Recruitment responsibilities Safety Team member, OSHA Log, Workers Comp, Reporting Suggestions for employee satisfaction, employee events coordination, and employee relations Maintain attendance tracking spreadsheet for full-time and contract workers Manage the employee helpline calls, answer employee questions and/or connect them to the appropriate people/resources to provide them. Ensure quality information by conducting regular audits and prepare data for audits, such as EEO. Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws such as labor law posters, responding to subpoenas, background checks, etc. Owns the verification of employment process and unemployment claims process and manages the relationship with vendors. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to HR leadership. Schedule and plan meetings for the HR team and perform clerical functions such as scanning, photocopying, sending e-mails or mail. Assists in the creation of presentations, training materials, offer letters and other documents as requested. Other duties as assigned. Background Profile: HR Generalist College Degree or equal experience required 2-3 years of experience in HR preferred Proficient utilizing office equipment: scanners, copiers and printers Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Proficient in MOS Word, Excel and Power Point Job Type: Full-time
