Sea Vision Publishing, a US-based company – is in need of a proactive Virtual Assistant to help grow its Online Publishing Business. Essential qualities, skills, and responsibilities are outlined below: We are looking to form long-term cooperation with a well-rounded virtual assistant who is organized and detail-oriented. You will be doing various tasks, almost all of which we will create tutorials for you. All we ask is that you are willing to learn and pay attention to details. With that said, below are the personal qualities we desire. Desired Qualities: – Communication (MUST BE FLUENT ENGLISH: Reading, Writing, Speaking) – Availability (1-4 hours available to work every weekday, sometimes weekends too) – Organized and detail-oriented – Respectful and Professional – Ability to meet strict deadlines – Reliable computer/laptop and internet – Work-well in a small team and independently – Ability to self-taught – Ability to be proactive – Ability to think critically and solve problems – Take pride in work completed Desired Interest: We want to work with someone who meets the qualities listed above and has a passion for books and reading. We are a publishing company. If you don’t genuinely like reading books such as fiction and non-fiction, this job will be hard for you. If you love books, then trust me, this will be a perfect job for you. Also, you will be working with fellow book lovers. The following are required. You must know how to do them well. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: – Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Words, PowerPoint, and Excel. – Proficiency in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. – Handling emails, contacting other companies, customers, etc. – Proficiency in researching various given topics. The following are recommended, we will provide training. Recommended Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: – Proficiency in researching product keywords. – Basic knowledge of email marketing. – Basic knowledge in Photoshop or Canva – Proficiency with WordPress – Basic knowledge of HTML The following are all the duties, almost all of which I will create tutorials for you. Potential duties include: – E-book and Paperback book formatting with Microsoft Words – Email management, respond to emails as required, then take the necessary steps to move the process along. – Social media posting using tools like later. – General clerical work with MS Excel and Words – Amazon keyword and book categories research. – Advertise books using software, forms, and social media (we provide software). – Simple WordPress tasks. What to Expect? The workload varies, depending on the number of books we launch each month or promotes. The hours spent on working will range from 1-4 hours max. There will be days where you won’t be working at all. We expect professionalism and excellent communication among the people on the team. Process & Rate: We will have a two-week trial period where you will be asked to perform several tasks to test your ability. The pay for the trial period will be $20. Regardless of you pass or not, after the two-weeks, you will earn the $20. Once you passed the trial period, your starting rate will be $70 per month for the first three months. We pay every 15th of the month. In the first two months, we will further teach you everything you need to know and work out a workflow that works best for the team and you. After three months, we will renegotiate the rate base on your performance. Our goal is to give you and us a chance to see if we are a good fit. The team members who passed usually worked with us for years. This is why our process is strict because we are in it for the long-term.
