Basic Details The annual salary ranges from ₡6,222,406.00 ($10,000 USD) to ₡9,333,609.00 ($15,000 USD) – depending on experience *Note: This comes out to about $4.81/hour to $7.21/hour Paid weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly (whatever works best for you) Basic Qualifications Located at Costa Rica Over 18+ years old with national ID or permanent resident ID (DIMEX) Minimum educational qualification is High School Diploma Preferred educational qualification is Baccalaureate (Bachelor’s degree) Fluent to native English speaking and writing proficiency Have (or be able to obtain) High Speed Internet (10 MGB download / 2MBG upload or better) 2-3 years of call center experience Basic Responsibilities Utilize texting and calling software to reach out to leads Identify leads who have payday/installment loans that we can help them with Leading conversations based upon a script Managing customers and leads in CRM Onboarding customers to the DebtHammer program Assisting with billing-related customer support inquiries Requirements and Responsibilities As a Virtual Customer Service Representative at DebtHammer, your mission is to drive revenue for the company. Signups aren’t counted as sales. Paying customers are counted as sales. Your primary responsibility will be engaging with potential customers who are actively seeking payday loan relief. About 65-75% of all interactions are with potential customers. Whereas about 25-35% of all interactions are with existing customers. We’re a young company with a lot of growth potential so expect heavy experimentation with our sales process ― including but not limited to cold calls (only if it makes sense!!!), personalized texting, and more (currently 100% of all leads are inbound leads). Once engaged, reps use open-ended questions and active listening to understand the needs of the customer and position DebtHammer as the best solution. It will be your responsibility to ensure that our customers have an amazing experience with DebtHammer and are able to see us as the go-to solution for this industry. You will also be responsible for answering billing-related questions and logging down support tickets for customers who request support. This position requires a well-rounded skill-set and ability to juggle multiple ongoing tasks at once. We’re looking to build out an incredible team composed of A players like yourself. As the first hire on our Virtual Customer Service team, you’ll be joining us early enough to have the privilege of working and learning alongside the founder in a rapidly growing company. The most meaningful qualifications are that you’re determined and can learn quickly. Here are some good guidelines: You have fluent to native English speaking and writing proficiency You have excellent English communication skills (written, comprehension, and verbal). 2-3 years of experience doing phone sales and/or customer support in a call center environment You have a dedicated workspace, equipment, and strong internet connection (10 MGB download / 2MBG upload or better) You are adaptable to change You are empathetic and have a disposition that puts people at ease You are quick-witted on the phone when it comes to overcoming a customer’s objections You are enthusiastic and passionate You are data-driven when it comes to quotas and metrics You have basic knowledge of working with Excel or Google Sheets (or are willing to learn) Benefits DebtHammer is scaling enthusiastically.
