We’re trying to build a whitelist of sites to advertise on. We believe we need around 2,000 sites In order of preference, these sites should be: 1. Quality business & financial press (Financial Times, WSJ, The Economist) 2. International newspapers of record (eg. https://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/news.html#record) 3. Major world news (eg. https://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/news.html) 4. Premium business news sites 5. Financial Industry sector press 6. Other industry trade press 7. (Very) high-quality blogs Bias towards UK, US. Do want to have sites from non-US/UK sources represented (eg. Times of India, SCMP, etc) What we want you to do: 1. Identify useful directories and media listings Here are some starters https://www.ipcb.co.uk/MTTrade.html https://www.webwire.com/IndustryList.asp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_trade_magazines http://www.gebbieinc.com/index.html https://swpp.co.uk/publications/ 2. Visit the site. Does it serve advertisements? Does it look "Quality?" (you’ll have to use your personal discretion here!) 3. Does it have an ads.txt page? This is a page that tells us which ad networks are allowed to sell inventory on the site (https://iabtechlab.com/ads-txt-about/) For those sites that DO take advertisements, please record the following in a Google Sheet: – Name of publication – Country of publication – Brief description (no more than 10 words, e.g. "Insurance industry", "National newspaper", "Biotech focus") to give us an idea of the audience. – Language – URL – Has ads.txt? (Y/N) – Quality score
