VIRTUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT We are woman-owned and led leadership and executive coaching company based in Texas and New Jersey, and we are looking for an Administrative Assistant working from home alongside our Finance and Admin team on a part-time basis. This independent contractor position has potential to continue on a long-term basis should the right candidate be found. This role reports to the Director of Finance and the Managing Partner. A motivated candidate can learn and grow with our company. The virtual assistant will complete projects that are anticipated to require between 10 and 20 hours per week. The work will include the following: – Data entry – Analysis and spreadsheet work (must be proficient in excel) – Ad hoc duties to include, creating, uploading and revising documents remotely using Google drive, dealing promptly with incoming emails etc – Additional duties to include proof reading and mild editing of PowerPoint presentations (for look and formatting not context), requesting and tracking of teaching materials, filing and organising teaching materials. – Opening of Zoom classes and technically supporting teachers on zoom (managing recording, filing recording to the Drive, managing slide presentations and breakout rooms on Zoom). Please note this work is currently required weekly and on some early evenings (eastern standard time). You must be available at least 20 hours during Monday-Thursday on flexible schedule – (yours). People with another job that does not give them flexibility to do their work should not apply. – Tracking and data entry work on Google Sheets Skills required: • Familiarity being a virtual assistant or work from home worker. • Great communication skills via phone, email, skype and chat • Strong knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Google Drive (strong IT skills are essential) • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel spreadsheets , Word and Power Point, • Good typing speed (at least 50 words per minute) • Strong data entry and file management skills • Ability to work unassisted from home in an efficient and timely manner. You must have your own up to date (no older than 3 years with current software.) computer equipment and high-speed internet • Light bookkeeping spreadsheet and analysis work. • Confident in using Skype, Zoom and Adobe • Willing to learn and use new software. • A good attitude and a sense of humor is essential. • Willingness to be proactive, to think ahead not just to “do what you are told” • Strong attention to detail orientation Candidates with these skills will have an advantage: Highly technically savvy. (comfort with learning and using apps and new software) Digital Marketing or Social Medial skills. Use of Mail Chimp/Survey Monkey Understanding how to post and respond to people using LinkedIn/Sales Navigator We are a team-oriented small business where everyone helps everyone else do their work. Attitude and skill are equally important. We look forward to hearing from you. Compensation: $15-$18 per hour to start with increases every 2 months if motivation and progress are shown.
